We organised two very successful socials for our members and supporters in the second half of 2025.
Our first event took place on a balmy evening in late August. It was really great to see a lot of new faces, some of whom had travelled a long way to hear about our campaigning and find out if the Leather Bottle in Earlsfield does indeed have the best beer garden in (South-West/South/all of) London.
In November we held a joint event with our neighbours Lambeth for Europe at the King & Co pub in Clapham, which was a good opportunity for the two groups to network and make plans for 2026.
The next opportunity to meet up will be our AGM and speaker event on Wednesday 11th February for which we will be returning to the Omnibus theatre on Clapham Common. The AGM from 6:15pm is for group members to have their say on our 2026 programme and vote for our committee, then everyone (i.e. member or not) is welcome to a talk and discussion from 7:00pm with former MEP and current European Movement Vice Chair Molly Scott Cato. There’ll also be a raffle with fantastic prizes, and following the key proceedings we will transfer to the excellent Omnibus bar downstairs. The venue fulfills all accessibility needs and is very close to Clapham Common tube.
