Our AGM last month at the Clapham Omnibus was a lively and stimulating event. We cleared the official business in record time and then were treated to an inspiring talk and presentation by Molly Scott Cato, Vice-Chair of EMUK. Her topic was ‘Celebrating European Values’, and highlights of the event and her presentation can be found here.
You have probably heard about the London4Europe rally on March 10th at the Clapham Omnibus. It is a hybrid event, and for more details contact london@europeanmovement.co.uk
Also this month, we will have a street stall and Eurometer at Earlsfield Station on Saturday March 28th from 11 am – 1 pm. We always welcome extra supporters at these events; there are leaflets to hand out, and the bigger our presence, the more we are noticed. Please email us at wandsworth@europeanmovement.co.uk if you are free to join.
You may also have heard about the Rejoin Ramble from May 23rd– June 5th, when the team at National Rejoin March are WALKING from London to Brussels (255 Miles) across 14 days (19.6 Miles per day average). EM Wandsworth & Merton are planning to support the walkers by joining them on the first leg of the Ramble at 8 am on May23rd, starting at Parliament Square. If you are an early riser and a keen walker, this one is for you, so please save the date and we will be back with more information.
As ever, we are keen to grow the membership and increase the diversity of our members. If you are not yet a member please consider joining EMUK, and spread the word about our activities.

To stay in the loop on all of our up-coming campaigning and social events, make sure that you are signed up to European Movment either as a supporter (free of charge), or member (the best way to support the UK organisation, which has a small but dedicated team of full-time professionals working to put the country back where it belongs – at the heart of Europe!)
If you provide a postcode within Wandsworth or Merton whilst doing this, you should also be added to our occasional email list giving details of the latest events and projects. If this doesn’t happen, or you live outside the area and would still like to receive our updates, please contact wandsworth@europeanmovement.co.uk to be added to the list. This is the same address to use for any other queries.
